One student replied: "You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building."

Is an organization run primarily by disabled for disabled on both sides of the state line. They assist newly disabled to gain access to their community as well as desired services and programs. They emphasize peer relationships and peer role models. This involves counseling from those who have “been there” in the areas of both technical and coping skills in their everyday life. Many who had no one to turn to for a scooter, lift or other device have benefited from the kindness and experienced wisdom of those who care.
